Nazareth Family Retreat - Summer 2024
Volunteer Application Form

Each summer, we require young adult volunteers with youth ministry experience to run our Nazareth youth program. Accommodations and three meals a day are provided at no cost. The following positions are available.

Main Youth Coordinator (1 position)

Coordinate and oversee the child and youth program, consisting of babysitting for babies and toddlers, and activities for preschool and school-age children and teens. This is a paid position, and is a 3 week commitment.

Assistant Youth Coordinators (3 positions)

Assist the main youth coordinator with the activities for the child and youth program. One person is needed to oversee a craft station, a second person to oversee sports, and a third to provide catechesis/faith formation.
We are also in need of babysitters to care for babies and toddlers.

Cooks

Two or three people are required each week to prepare a buffet-style lunch for the families, Monday to Friday. Cooks are provided with a menu, grocery lists and meal-planning schedule for the week. Lunches are prepared in the morning after Mass. Occasionally some preparation is required the day or evening before. The menu is flexible if cooks wish to make adjustments. Additional planning assistance from one of the core team members is also available.
